UN Department of Public Information

The Department of Public Information at the United Nations sponsors the N.G.O. status of International Cinema Education in the field of Education and Youth. Through this relationship, I.C.E. is able to host screenings of premieres at the U.N.'s Dag Hammarskjold Theater and arrange conferences and briefings in areas related to the work at the United Nations in immigration, human rights, non-violence, environment and youth issues. In addition, the 192 Foreign Missions at the United Nations offer private briefings for students at their Missions to learn about their foreign country and their global interaction. Students are also invited to the United Nations for a private tour.
